I've done a little work in AI. Worked on an algorithm using a Neural Network that would help pick out specific respiratory patterns. We ultimately went another way but a NN is good for that sort of thing; pattern recognition.

yah back in the hay-days of the C64 (amazing what you could do with 64k of ram hu?
I worked with natural language AI's like ALIZA, and variants of that, also worked with gaming AI's for RTS (Real Time strategy) engines, to keep you on your toes when doing the strategic combat Vs (the dumb machine, that some times wins)

How many of you out there at least keep up with (some what) theory and at least simple applications of AI's? or at least like to play against game IA's?

or at least sound off so I know this isn't a dead Tribe. :-)
